Our Story
WE ARE THE IRON TWINS.
We are identical twins, Paola and Pamela Del Hierro. Peruvian born, raised in Canada now proud American Citizens. Our last name is Spanish and translates to “of Iron”.
From a family of artists, our parents' love story unfolded on the stage in Peru. But they made a daring choice: to leave it all behind and immigrate to Canada, seeking a better life for us. With our older brother in tow, we embarked on a journey of hope and new beginnings.
Immersed in a world of art, music, and creativity from an early age, our passion for design ignited when we first grasped a pencil. As we grew, our paths diverged: Paola ascended the corporate ladder, honing her skills as a Digital Marketing and Brand Professional. Meanwhile, Pamela embraced her entrepreneurial spirit, founding Double Vision Interactive and traversing the globe as a freelance Web/Graphic designer.
Adventure seekers, we discovered CrossFit and Obstacle Racing (OCR) in 2013. Hooked instantly, we turned our passion into a lifestyle. Our journey took an unexpected turn when we joined History Channel's "The Selection: Special Operations Experiment." No military background, just sheer determination. The experience forever changed us, revealing the indomitable power of the mind.
Just when we thought we were living out our dream and passion working together in the fitness industry we found out we were BOTH pregnant and if that wasn’t crazy enough we were both expecting boys! Little did we know that Motherhood would be our greatest obstacle, life changing on every level; mental, physical, emotional and spiritual where quitting is NOT an option.
